As the COVID pandemic progressed the Bethnal Green Library was chosen as the best venue for a vaccine trial centre. Paul Bowers Isaacson, as the patient/public representative on the Barts COVID Delivery and Operational Group visited the library as preparations were rapidly made to convert the recently re-furbished building during October 2020.
