As the COVID pandemic grew and the emergency Nightingale Hospital was set up at the Excel Centre by NHS Barts Health clinical research staff funded by NIHR from across the health authority and Queen Mary University London were re-assigned. Their initial training for these new roles took place at the William Harvey Clinical Research Centre - ‘well-spaced’. TrialsConnect assisted with production of training packets .
