Dr David Collier, Clinical Director at the William Harvey Clinical Research Centre, was an early participant in the Astra-Zeneca vaccine trial. The vaccine was developed at Oxford by a longtime colleague and friend… He had the shot while ‘back at base’ Queen Mary University London and Barts Health were setting up for NIHR a vaccine trial centre for the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine at Bethnal Green LIbrary .
